The KPI Institute Consulting conducted an assignment related to Performance Audit. In this respect, we evaluated two capabilities, namely Employee Performance Management and Performance Culture. At the same time, besides the recommendations for improvement, the client had its performance excellence levels acknowledged.

Founded in 1986, Al-ELM Information Security Company offers a wide range of ready-made and customized digital solutions in many areas. We met them in 2019 when invited to evaluate their Performance Architecture. Due consideration was paid to the way performance is reflected when it comes to the organizational culture and the employees.

Approach

The project debuted with the collection of internal documentation, the fundament for the evidence-based assessment. Having the documentation gathered, we conducted their review targeting the maturity of the performance-related processes, practices, and tools. A validation meeting was organized with the client to discuss the state of the previously submitted documents.

The next phase consisted of deploying the perception-based assessment for Employee Performance Management and Performance Culture. With a particular audience for the two distinctive capabilities, we disseminated the survey via our integrated platform. Targeting the key stakeholders to the aforementioned capabilities, it was time to have the perception-based assessment commenced.

Moving forward, we analyzed and scored the documentation, then processed the data resulted from the surveys and interpreted it accordingly. The interview-based assessment was then initiated to validate the results from documentation and surveys. We thus ensured to have a deep-dive understanding of the audit findings.

With the assignment coming to an end, there were the outputs consolidated, with the data aggregated coming from the evidence-, perception-, and interview-based assessment. The current maturity level was thus determined, thoroughly described in the Audit Report. Moreover, improvement recommendations were formulated, paving the way to the next level.
