The KPI Insititute Consulting implemented a project meant to support the client in consolidating its Audit Framework. We assisted them with integrating our Performance Management System Maturity Model in their audit procedure. In this way, the client integrated the methodology developed by the Global Performance Audit Unit to evaluate their auditees.
The Financial Audit Department of the Government of Dubai is the supreme audit institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We met them in 2016 when invited to create an innovative approach to address the challenges in auditing the public sector entities. In this way, the client had its capabilities on Performance Audit consolidated bases on our models of excellence.
We provided extended guidance on how to evaluate based on the newly integrated model, also ensuring a smooth transition to the new audit methodology. An approach targeting audit stealiming was followed, leading to relevance enhancement. We introduced an evidence-based approach to prevent over or under-estimation when it comes to maturity scores.
The skills and competencies for Performance Management Audit were developed during the offline and online training. In this way, the key stakeholder within the client organization was trained to effectively use the revised Audit Framework. Besides, we completed the quality assurance for the first audits conducted by the client using the new methodology.
